The communists knelt behind trees, loading their weapons and donitzers, and calling in for tanks---the Araza had 5 tanks only. But 2800 Araza people were under the cover of foliage, leaves, mounds, dirt, and logs. In plain sight if those things weren't there. 2800 militarists were surely enough to break through the defensive line. Were they?
******************
Captain Vein looked around the defensive line. Two other battalions had reached them just in time, and the front lines had just been greatly strengthened. 5000 brave soldiers were ready to meet the Araza head on. This arrangement of heavy donitzers, flamethrowers, mortars, rifles, and machine guns contained half of the 1st Infantry Division. If the communists were somewhere near them, they'd better be ready to feel the heat, literally.
Suddenly a soldier spotted a communist, dressed in black and red, sharp contrast to the Mistmantlean camouflage pattern. The discovered militarist swiped up his rifle and shot the soldier. In response, the Mistmantleans fired at the trees with a donitzer, and screams were heard. The 2800 Araza militarists had been discovered.
The commies took no chances. They rolled their weapons into the open, and fired on the Mistmantleans. The Mistmantleans rushed into the forest, armed with submachine guns, with the speed of deer. Almost immediately they stumbled upon the commies.
The battle had begun.
